The work of visual artist/composer Pé Okx exceeds various disciplines. It includes photography, film and video installations, soundscapes as well as theatrical voyages in carefully chosen sites.
His projects have a poetical strain and play with the viewer’s perspective in an intriguing way. By deconstructing the relationship between object and spectator, Okx builds an alternative reality, which he calls 'the place in between'. He often combines the abstract language of music and sound with provocative images to create a new kind of experience.
In many of his works one can see a strong fascination for nature: changing landscapes, decay, the influence of time and the role of man in it.
His work is presented a.o. in Europe and USA often on specific locations and sites.
