Fluent Memory

This project is based on a collection of old photo negatives.

On the pictures: people posing through the years, showing their special moments. The images look pure and honest and are touching in all their simplicity. The way they pose give an impression of a certain era, while, at the same time, they look through the lens into a future they cannot see.

By showing the photographs with the Cyanotype process, which is in fact much older than the negatives, it feels like something shifts in time. The images obtain a new value, where time is futile.
